Abstract
|
|
|
Papillary and cystic neoplasm of the pancreas is an extremely rare tumor which occurs predominantly in young adult females.
Unlike most pancreatic tumors, these are either benign or of relatively low garde malignant potential and are ameanable to surgical resection and cure. Since metastases are rare, the prognosis is good.
Herein, we report a case of papillary and cystic neoplasm of the pancreas in a 16-year-old female patient with review of pertinent literatures.
